- Test drive vehicle. Feels like problem is in Transmission/TCC. Check transmission fluid level and condition. No problem found. Scan test returned no engine or transmission DTC's. Test drive vehicle while monitoring scan data. Can see excessive slipping from Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) when surging/shudder occurs. Added friction modifier to transmission to see if it would help with TCC engagement. Problem still occurring. Recommend replacing Transmission/TCC assembly.
- Lubricate and check chassis. Change oil and oil filter. Check all fluid levels and tire pressures.
